HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Every time you place in a Sit 'n Go table from March 1st - March 31st, you’ll earn points.
The higher you place, the more points you’ll earn.
All players who take part will be ranked on the $50,000 Extreme Sit 'n Go Leaderboards on order of the number of points accumulated.
The more opponents you have - the more points you will able to earn.
Go big! The bigger the buy-in- the more points you will be able to earn.
The players topping the leaderboard on Monday, March 16th, will receive 25% of the total prize pool, paid out on Wednesday, March 18th.
The Extreme Sit 'n Go Leaderboard Challenge will come to an end on March 31st and on April 1st, all players topping the Leaderboards will be paid out a massive 75% of the total prize pool!

PRIZE PAYOUT TABLES

Prizes will be paid out to players in two stages as follows:

ON Wednesday, March 18th, 25% of the total prize pool will be paid out to the players topping the leaderboards on Monday, March 16th.
ON Wednesday, April 1st the remaining 75% of the total prize pool will be paid out to the players topping the leaderboards at the end of the month.

The points system is based on our excellent existing Sit 'n Go leaderboard formula.

TOURNAMENT LEADERBOARDS FAQS

How are the tournament leader boards classified?

We understand that everybody has their own level of play and it would be unfair to classify all players in to the same group. This is why we have split up our leaderboards up further in to three separate stakes categories:

Bronze - this level includes tournaments with a buy-in ranging from $0.05 to $0.99.
Silver - this level includes tournaments with a buy-in ranging from $1 to $9.99.
Gold - this level includes tournaments with a buy-in ranging from $9.99 and upwards.

Both the buy-in price and buy-in fee are included when making this classification, so for example if you enter a tournament that costs $9.50 + $0.95 this tournament will count towards the Gold level as the total cost is $10.45.

Which tournaments are counted towards the leaderboards?

You will receive leaderboard points for all real money STT's. Certain tournaments however cannot count towards leaderboard points and these are listed here:
STT's not eligible for leaderboard points:

All 1-Up Sit 'n Go (double of nothing)
All Instant All-in Sit 'n Go's
All satellite tournaments
Any play money tournaments
All heads up Sit 'n Go's

Barring the above exclusions, all tournaments that accept a US Dollar buy-in will be used towards your leaderboard points. Even if you are using a non-US Dollar buy-in to register for the tournament like Promo Bucks, POP or other treasures, you will still get points as long as one of the buy-in options is US Dollars.

How are the leaderboard points calculated?

We take a few factors in to consideration when calculating your points, these are:

Your finish position
Total registrations for the tournament
Buy-in price of the tournament

These values are then fed in to the following formula to get the points value:

[ Sqrt (Total registrations for the tournament) / Sqrt (Your finish position) ] * [ Log (Buy-in price + 1) * 100]

This formula is run for every completed qualified tournament you enter and the points are added together.

How long do the leaderboard points accumulate for?

Points will be reset on a monthly basis and the players that are at the top of the leaderboards at this time will be deemed the winners for that month.

Points for the following month will start being added to the leaderboards from the 1st day at 00:00 ET.
Points are added based on the tournament finish time, so if a tournament starts at 23:00 ET on the last day of the month, if the tournament only finishes on the 1st day of the new month it will count towards the new months' points.

How often are the leaderboards updated?

The leaderboards are updated every 24 hours.

Terms and Conditions:

Tournament leaderboards are broken down in to two main groups and then three separate stakes categories.
The two main groups classify what kind of tournament it is, and these are either one of the following: Multi-table Scheduled Tournaments (MTT's), Single-table Sit 'n Go Tournaments (STT's).
Bronze level includes tournaments with a buy-in ranging from $0.05 to $1.99.
Silver level includes tournaments with a buy-in ranging from $2 to $19.99.
Gold level includes tournaments with a buy-in ranging from $20 and upwards.
Both the buy-in price and buy-in fee are included when making this classification, so for example if you enter a tournament that costs $19.50 + 1.95 this tournament will count towards the Gold level as the total cost is $21.45.
Only regular 6-seater and 10-seater Sit 'n Go tournaments are included in the leaderboard.
All above mentioned tournaments that accept a US Dollar buy-in will be used towards your leaderboard points. Even if you are using a non-US Dollar buy-in to register for the tournament like Tournament money, Comp points or other Tournament tickets, you will still get points as long as one of the buy-in option’s is US Dollars.
Leaderboard points are added automatically with multipliers and levels as provided on the promotional page.
The leaderboard runs from Monday 0:00am ET to Sunday 11:59pm ET.
This promotion is only applicable for Sit 'n Go tournaments (STT's).
Points are added based on the tournament finish time, so if a tournament starts at 23:00 ET on Sunday, if the tournament only finishes on Monday, it will count towards your points for the following week.
Prizes will be distributed according to the prize payout table shown on the promotional page.
The positions of the players on the STT leaderboards on Sunday at 11:59pm ET determines the compensation to be paid out.
Prizes will be paid out by Wednesday evening.
None of the terms and conditions regarding prize allocations described herein are applicable for Multi-Table tournament leaderboards.
